GUNFISH
"Battle Stations - Gun Action!" Ensign Charley Jason, A
Reserve officer faces the searing experiences of submarine warfare in the
Pacific.
When a fleet type submarine went to
war in the Pacific it operated mainly on the surface, attacking convoys at
night, always heavily escorted as well as single vessels, rescuing downed
flyers during intense air battles and shooting up enemy trawlers, junks,
fishing boats and sampans. Often it had to fight to rescue downed pilots
with the submarine at total risk during such daytime actions.
Marketing:
"Gunfish - A Fleet Submarine Goes to
War" is pure fiction intended for adults. Many of the adventures were common
events for submariners going to war in the Pacific. Gunfish will give the
reader an insight on how the submarines sustained themselves during periods
of high stress.
A BIOGRAPHY OF THE AUTHOR:
During a 45 year civilian legal career
in Tacoma, Washington, Pearson pursued a parallel career in the U.S. Naval
Reserve rising to the rank of Captain. During the Viet Nam War he served as
the Naval Reserve Group Commander and supervised the construction of the
Reserve Training Center in Tacoma.
Marketing Plan: "Gunfish - A
Fleet Submarine Goes to War" is now available in Paperback and may be

PIRATEFISH
Cynthia Blair, the fourth owner of China Bank, opens her home in a tangible
expression of thanks and support to members of the Pacific Submarine Fleet
Force for their extraordinary service to the United States. When former
shipmates reunite at Blair Mansion, they unwittingly become involved in the
most brazen hijacking attempt the U.S. Navy has ever seen.
Lieutenant Commander Charley
Jason and Polly Flowers’ wedding is set to occur at the mansion the night
before inspections will be held on the Piratefish and Minefish submarines.
Also coinciding with the wedding festivities is a secret mission designed by
Colonel Mark Hong, a Red Chinese officer and agent extraordinaire. Disguised
as a bank interne, Hong arrives at Blair Mansion for his training in
American banking. After members of his gang clandestinely slip ashore, they
immediately begin terrorizing the residents of Chinatown and proceed
step-by-step toward their target. Late on the night of the wedding, the gang
takes hostages and seizes control of a submarine at Treasure Island. Chief
Gunnersmate Carruther and Lieutenant Sylvester of the Piratefish interrupt
the hijacking with their own counterattack.
Will Carruther and Sylvester
be able to save the hostages and the submarine in the midst of the explosive
action in the waters off the Golden Gate?

In 1969, U.S. Naval Commanders Tommy
Carruther and Ned Sylvester are ordered to the United Kingdom to
serve with the Royal Navy in their fight against the Irish
Republican Army (IRA). They must assess the operational
abilities of the Chariot, a manned, deadly weapon used by the
Royal Navy to slip into anchorages and disable enemy ships. The Chariot
is configured like a bicycle built for two crew members and will be used to
make raids on shipboard weapons caches in the Republic of Ireland.
As the two commanders are deployed, a rogue submarine, the Red Dragon,
arrives in the Irish Sea to assist the IRA in planning bomb attacks in
London. A Chinese terrorist named Mark Hong, an intelligent and ruthless man
with connections to several communist countries, commands the vessel, as
ordered by Chairman Mao. Hong plans to help the IRA in their fight against
the British. But will the British and Americans be able to thwart the plot
and destroy the Red Dragon?
With action raging from the Isle of Man to the Republic of Ireland and the
heart of London, Chariotfish: Submariners Battle the I.RA is a fast-paced
thriller, bursting with suspense and surprise.

Forty-year-old Portia
Fraser practices law in Cascade City, a small Washington State
community. For the past fifteen years, she’s built up a
substantial client base and has managed to balance her job with
her family. But the upcoming months will test her limits, both
professionally and personally …
Portia finds herself involved in a multitude of lawsuits, each
one bringing its own challenge. When a sleazy lawyer named Seth
Thompson hatches an evil scheme to cheat four orphans out of
their inheritance, Portia calls on all her years of training to
thwart him. But after successfully winning the case, she faces a
personal dilemma brought on by her troubled marriage and her
unfaithful husband. Facing mental and physical exhaustion,
Portia travels to Paris to recuperate. There she meets and falls
captive to the charms of a virile Frenchman, Henri, who makes
her feel young again.
Her month-long sabbatical quickly ends when her husband is
involved in an accident. Portia returns to America, divorces her
husband, and dives back into her workload. But she cannot forget
those few days in Paris that radically changed her perception of
the world, and she wonders if life will ever be the same again.
